Rich Coffee Sauce
Servings: 1 Cups

- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup Water
- ½ cup Tomato Sauce
- ½ cup Red Wine can change for Beef Stock
- ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 T White Vinegar
- 1 T Instant coffee
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 30 g Margerine
- 2 t Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Sauté onion in margarine until tender and golden. Add all the remaining ingredients.
- Bring slowly to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15min, till thick.
Notes
Taste as you go, you may want more bitterness, add more coffee or for a more wine richness, you can add more wine or stock.
