For anyone who has been on a cruise, you know the desserts onboard are to DIE for… We were on an 11 day cruise to the South Pacific recently on a Carnival ship. And I fell in-love with their melting chocolate cake. I found their recipe and have made it a few times without flaws.

Chocolate Lava Cake
Servings: 2 people
A beautifully rich dessert, you may want to serve it with Vanilla ice-cream.

- 85 grams Dark Chocolate Lindt 70%
- 85 grams Butter Softened
- 2 Eggs
- 42.5 grams Caster Sugar
- 28.5 grams Flour
Instructions
Notes
- Melt the chocolate and butter
- Mix eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes, then add flour
- Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix
- Pour the mix in a greased mold
- Bake directly in the oven at 200°C for 14 minutes
